Have you heard of the bedroom tax? If you under-occupy your property (in other words, if you have one or more spare bedrooms) and you receive Housing Benefit then from April 2013 your Housing Benefit will be cut by up to 25%. You will have to make up any rent shortfall from your other benefits.
